Sites By Beth offers you affordable websites.

The price of your custom website depends on its complexity.

A simple site, often called a brochure site, is the least expensive.

It would consist of about five simple pages.

A homepage is the page people see first. It could include a header, which is what appears on the top of the page, a picture or a few pictures, and some text telling about the content of the site.

The second page is usually an "About" page which tells about you or the business or both. It consists of a picture or two and some text.

The next two or three pages would be about individual features of your business.

The last page is usually a "Contact" page which tells people how to get ahold of you, either by email, phone, mail, or a combination.

The names of the pages appear on a menu such as the one you see on the left side of this page you are reading.

If you can provide me with text and pictures which are ready to be put on the pages, the cost would be about $350.

If I need to edit your text and pictures, my charge for that is $50 an hour. I am fast. I can give you an estimate if you send me examples. Usually I can make the changes in an hour or two.

If you need me to "interview" you to write up your text and/or scan printed pictures and/or help you take pictures, the cost would be higher. $50 an hour.

A  site that has more pages and features such as videos, shopping carts, slideshows, galleries, etc. will of course be more expensive, because it will take me longer to build it.

My site, which you are reading, would cost about $800.

The text and pictures were ready to go.

There are features such as a video, animation, and photo features.

Adding a shopping cart would increase the cost by up to several hours, depending on how many items you want to sell.
